Top 5 Reasons to Choose CoolSculpting for Body Contour

With Spring Break and the summer months fast approaching, you might rush to get that ideal body type you’ve wanted. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive body contouring procedure that can help you achieve a slimmer and more toned appearance. Here are the top 5 reasons why you might choose CoolSculpting for your body contouring needs:

1. It’s Non-Invasive

CoolSculpting is a non-surgical procedure, meaning there is no incision, anesthesia, or downtime. Unlike liposuction, which requires a surgical procedure, CoolSculpting is done in the comfort of a doctor’s office, and you can return to your normal activities immediately after the procedure. CoolSculpting is a safe procedure cleared by the FDA for non-invasive fat reduction. The procedure is done by a licensed professional and is performed under the supervision of a doctor. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure, so there is no incision, anesthesia, or downtime. In addition, unlike liposuction, which can leave scars, CoolSculpting does not leave any marks on the skin.

2. It’s Painless

CoolSculpting is a painless procedure. CoolSculpting does not require anesthesia or incisions, and most people report little to no discomfort during the treatment. The treatment feels like a cold sensation and lasts only a few minutes. Some people may experience mild discomfort or a pulling sensation during the procedure, but this typically subsides quickly and can be managed with over-the-counter pain medication. After the procedure, patients may experience some mild soreness, redness, or swelling, but these side effects typically resolve within a few days. Liposuction, on the other hand, is a surgical procedure that requires incisions and anesthesia. The procedure is generally more invasive than CoolSculpting and may be associated with more pain and discomfort. Patients may experience pain, swelling, and discomfort for several days or even weeks after the procedure and may require pain medication to manage the discomfort. In general, CoolSculpting is considered less painful than liposuction and has a faster recovery time.

3. It Provides Long-lasting Results

CoolSculpting results are long-lasting as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle. The fat cells treated with CoolSculpting are permanently eliminated from your body, which means you will not regain the fat in the treated areas. CoolSculpting provides natural-looking results. The procedure removes fat cells from the body without damaging the surrounding tissue. This means that the results of CoolSculpting look natural and not artificial. Although CoolSculpting provides natural, long-lasting results, it begs the question: How often do I need to complete this procedure? The frequency of CoolSculpting treatments can vary depending on the individual and the specific area being treated. In general, one treatment is enough to achieve a noticeable reduction in fat. However, a second treatment may be necessary for some people to achieve the desired results. The treatment results are permanent as long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle. The fat cells eliminated during CoolSculpting will not return, but new fat cells can develop if the patient gains weight.

4. Cost-effective

CoolSculpting is a cost-effective option for body contouring. Unlike other body contouring procedures such as liposuction, CoolSculpting is non-invasive and requires no anesthesia or surgical equipment, which means the procedure’s cost is significantly lower. The cost of CoolSculpting can vary depending on the number of areas being treated and the number of sessions required to achieve the desired results. In contrast, the cost of liposuction can vary depending on the number of areas being treated, the type of anesthesia used, and the surgeon’s fee.

5. Customizable

CoolSculpting treatment is customizable, so the procedure can be tailored to your needs. The shape, size, and number of applicators used will depend on the area of the body that you are treating and the amount of fat that needs to be removed. CoolSculpting is suitable for both men and women. The procedure can treat both small and large areas of the body, and the results can be seen in both men and women. CoolSculpting is designed to target specific areas of the body, such as the stomach, hips, thighs, and arms. This means that you can choose to have CoolSculpting done on only the areas of your body that you are most concerned about.

In conclusion, CoolSculpting is an effective and safe option for body contouring. It is a non-invasive procedure that can target specific areas of the body and provides long-lasting results. It is painless, cost-effective, customizable, and suitable for both men and women, and it provides natural-looking results with no scarring. If you are considering body contouring, CoolSculpting may be an excellent choice for you.

What-Should-I-Expect-From-CoolSculpting

If you’re considering CoolSculpting, you’ll want to know what to expect during your treatment and recovery. While the CoolSculpting procedure takes about 35 minutes, the number of treatments you’ll need to complete will influence the time. If you require CoolSculpting on more than one area of your body, the treatment will take a few more sessions.

Treatment recovery

After receiving a CoolSculpting treatment, your body will experience a few days of soreness, swelling, and numbness. These are typical side effects and should subside within a couple of days.

The process can produce visible results as early as three weeks after treatment, but the most dramatic changes will be seen two to three months after the procedure. During this time, the body will continue to flush the fat cells out of the body. To speed up the process, you should stay well hydrated. Also, it would help if you kept a journal or blog to document your progress.

Side effects

Side effects of CoolSculpting can vary, but they’re usually short-lived and localized. Patients may experience temporary numbness, tenderness to the touch, tingling, or swelling. Most patients experience mild pain, though some patients report a stinging or pinching sensation. These side effects are temporary and will disappear once the treatment area returns to its average temperature.

Although side effects of CoolSculpting are rare, it’s always good to talk to a medical professional before the procedure. Your doctor will perform a thorough exam and discuss the possible risks before you begin the treatment. Most doctors will prescribe weak pain medications in the short term to ease any discomfort. In extreme cases, opioids may be prescribed, but this is uncommon. Skin ointments can also be applied to the treatment area to reduce the pain and redness associated with the procedure.

Recovery time

The recovery time from CoolSculpting is typically around one week, with some patients experiencing slight bruising and tingling in the treated area. However, that is normal and will resolve over time. Other common side effects include a temporary dull sensation and temporary numbness of the treated area.
After CoolSculpting, it is essential to drink plenty of water. This will increase circulation and accelerate the body’s natural healing process. It is also helpful to engage in light exercise. It is generally safe to resume a moderate exercise program a few days after CoolSculpting.

After CoolSculpting, your body will naturally remove the targeted fat cells. The procedure will result in a reduction of 25 percent to 50 percent of the targeted fat layer. Results will be apparent between two and four months but may take longer in some cases. However, if you maintain a healthy diet and exercise regimen, your results should remain stable!

Cost

The cost of CoolSculpting varies depending on the type of treatment you receive and the number of sessions required. For example, it may take as few as one session to remove fat from the flanks, but a second session may be needed to remove fat from the inner or outer thighs. The number of treatments required depends on your body type and location. CoolSculpting is a cosmetic procedure, so insurance companies don’t usually cover it. However, you can ask your provider to set up a payment plan that works for you.

Conclusion

CoolSculpting is a cutting-edge fat-reduction tool! CoolSculpting is a non-invasive FDA-approved procedure. The procedure is significantly safer than archaic liposuction. CoolSculpting uses an applicator that exposes fat cells to sub-zero temperatures, which induces apoptosis (cell death). Once your fat cells reach apoptosis, the cells simply flush out of your body via urination. Recovery from CoolSculpting is no big deal, and you can return to a normal way of living right after the procedure. Rejuvenate Austin’s CoolSculpting professionals would be happy to talk to you if you have any questions about the procedure or recovery! Contact us today at 512-923-1071.

CoolSculpting-vs.-DIY-Fat-Loss

CoolSculpting is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that is used to reduce body fat. The procedure uses controlled cooling to freeze and eliminate fat cells from the body. The treatment is typically used on areas such as the stomach, thighs, and arms and targets stubborn pockets of fat resistant to diet and exercise.

On the other hand, getting rid of body fat on your own typically involves a combination of healthy eating and regular exercise. This approach focuses on burning more calories than you consume, which will cause your body to burn stored fat for energy. This process is known as a calorie deficit.

One of the main differences between CoolSculpting and getting rid of body fat is the time it takes to see results. With CoolSculpting, patients can expect a noticeable fat reduction within a few weeks of the procedure, although full results may take a couple of months. On the other hand, getting rid of body fat on your own can take several months or even years, depending on how much weight you need to lose.

Another difference between the two is the level of invasiveness. CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure, meaning no incisions or needles are involved. This means minimal discomfort during the procedure and no downtime required afterward. In contrast, getting rid of body fat on your own requires a significant amount of time and effort and a commitment to making lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly.

CoolSculpting also offers long-lasting results, as the fat cells eliminated during the procedure are permanently removed from the body. On the other hand, if you lose weight on your own and then stop maintaining a healthy lifestyle, the weight may come back.

In summary, CoolSculpting is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure that uses controlled cooling to reduce body fat. In contrast, getting rid of body fat on your own typically involves lifestyle changes such as eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Both options can lead to weight loss, but CoolSculpting may offer faster results with less effort and long-lasting results. However, it is important to note that CoolSculpting is not intended for weight loss but for contouring and is not a substitute for a healthy lifestyle.

It is important to consult with a medical professional to determine which option is best for you, as both have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, CoolSculpting may be a good option for those with a few stubborn pockets of fat that they would like to reduce. In contrast, getting rid of body fat on your own may be a better option for those who need to lose a significant amount of weight or want to make long-term lifestyle changes.

Some Common Questions Regarding the Latest, Non-Invasive Body Sculpting Treatment by EmSculpt NEO® at Rejuvenate Austin

What is the distinction between EmSculpt NEO® vs EmSculpt®?

The primary factor that EmSculpt NEO® differs from EmSculpt® is its technological advantage. Whereas EmSculpt® relies just on advanced HIFEM energy to tone up the muscles and attain fat decrease, EmSculpt NEO® is a world-first treatment that combines this innovation with radiofrequency. It blends radiofrequency heat with HIFEM using a patented electrode that is discovered in no other body-contouring machine.

This included heat increases the blood supply to muscles so they develop more powerful and much faster. It also warms layers of fat to a level that triggers them to physically break down. The harmed fat cells are then metabolized by the body in a natural way, causing irreversible fat elimination. This procedure simulates the impacts of other body-sculpting treatments like fat freezing, which destroys fat in a comparable temperature-controlled method but without the muscle-building benefits.

This has made EmSculpt NEO® a standout treatment in the body-contouring world. In one 30-minute session, it contracts muscles up to 24,000 times. It likewise offers a higher weight loss and muscle-building punch by burning 30% fat and boosting muscle mass by 25% after 3 months post-treatment.

Who is preferable for an EmSculpt NEO® treatment?

As EmSculpt NEO® has actually emerged as a market leader in combined fat decrease and muscle-toning, it is ideal for clients who want to redefine their bodies with optimal efficiency. Its advanced capability to burn through fat makes it a perfect choice for patients with a little more fat to lose.

What Outcomes are Common with EmSculpt NEO®?

BTL, the producer of EmSculpt®, carried out 30 studies on HIFEM technology consisting of 7 brand-new medical research studies on EmSculpt NEO®. Scientific studies determined fat and muscle by imaging (ultrasound, CT scans, and MRI studies), compared images prior to and after treatment, and measured modifications in waist measurements.

Usually, the following were accomplished in EmSculpt NEO® clinical studies on healthy patients:

EmSculpt NEO® results

  • 30% reduction in fat
  • 25% more muscle
  • 19% reduction in stomach muscle separation (called diastasis recti).
  • 9 cm (2.3 inches) loss in waist area.
  • 30% boost in satellite cells– stem cell precursors to brand-new muscle cells.
  • Muscle modifications comparable to a 12-16 week exercise routine.
  • 88% -100% client complete satisfaction.

What takes place if I gain weight following EmSculpt® treatment?

A healthy lifestyle, including diet and exercise maintenance, is encouraged following your series of EmSculpt® treatments. An increase in weight will permit fat stores to collect. This might occur disproportionately in areas neglected by EmSculpt®.

Is weight loss and increased muscle mass long-term following EmSculpt® treatment?

Fat cells damaged by increased fat metabolic process with EmSculpt® is irreversible. However, weight gain triggers remaining fat cells to grow, resulting in possible loss of effect.

Muscle mass is not long-term, but likely lasts 6 months or longer. Regular EmSculpt® treatments can keep the muscle tone achieved from a preliminary series of EmSculpt® treatments.

How does EmSculpt® compare to other approaches of fat reduction such as liposuction, CoolSculpting, or Vanquish?

EmSculpt® is a non-surgical technique for high-definition abs and butt lifting. It has no downtime or pain however requires a series of treatments and regular maintenance.

It’s intended for locations of undesirable fat that are not responsive to diets and workouts. Liposculpture is capable of removing large volumes of fat in a single treatment but involves some downtime.

Cryolipolysis, frequently described “CoolSculpting” by Zeltiq, is a method of non-invasive fat elimination that freezes fat, triggering fat cell death and elimination. The fat is frozen throughout treatment and must be rubbed, to help dissolve the cells.

In a small minority of cases, cryolipolysis can trigger considerable pain following treatment. In addition, cryolipolysis is somewhat technique-dependent. Several applicators to treat a large location such as the abdomen should be stacked and overlapped to prevent irregularities following treatment.

Vanquish utilizes heat to lead to the long-term removal of undesirable fat. It’s meant for people who have a hard time with stubborn locations of fat deposition, resistant to dietary and exercise procedures.

The Holidays are here and it’s hard to lose the few extra pounds we’re all bound to put on from all that Pumpkin Pie, Turkey, Prime Rib, Wine, Beer, and Desserts you’ve been enjoying. You may be self-conscious on how you look for those Holiday Parties. I know how you feel, and we have all been there! I have put together 5 easy steps on how to lose weight.

Tip 1. Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily. This is really easy to do especially during the summer but I think we tend to drink less water during the winter. If the water tastes bland, you can add lemon or cucumber slices to give it some flavor. Drink a glass of water before each meal and you will eat less because water will help you feel full. And remember drink at least as much water to equal your wine & beer intake during the holidays!

Tip 2. Make sure you eat breakfast. Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal. Eating a nice and healthy breakfast will give you energy and improve your performance throughout your day. Studies show that people who eat breakfast tend to weigh less than people who skip it, especially if the meal is high in protein.

Tip 3. Increase your walking time. Everyone already walks. You walk to your car, walk the dog, and walk around the house. Now try to increase your walking time. Park the car in the back of the parking lot. Walk around your block a few times a day.  Plan a half-hour walk with your friend instead of talking on the phone. By increasing the walking you are losing weight and burning more calories. This gets a little harder to do in the winter so just bundle up and walk faster to get some body heat going! Still don’t want to go outside? Try the popular 7-Minute Workout which you can do in your living room!

Tip 4. Adding veggies to your meals. Instead of snacking on candy, chips, or granola bars, try sliced carrots, red peppers, or celery. Really any vegetable will do. When you want a snack, it is hard not to grab something that is already ready to eat. If you prepare your veggie snacks beforehand and put them in zip-lock bags, they will be ready for you when you want a snack. That way you will be making a healthy choice. During lunch and dinner, increase your veggies. Make a nice big salad and load it up with veggies. Veggies are low-calorie foods that are healthy for you and will help you lose weight.

Tip 5. Eat your last meal before 6 pm. Your metabolism slows down towards the end of the day. People tend to move around less especially after dinner. That is why it is important to eat dinner before 6 pm. You can still eat a light snack afterward. This way you will burn calories and lose weight.

If you tried diet and you still have stubborn fat that you can’t lose, we offer a procedure called CoolSculpting®. This procedure eliminates stubborn fat safely without surgery or downtime. This fat reduction treatment is the only FDA-cleared procedure to use controlled cooling to safely target and eliminate diet and exercise-resistant fat.

Freeze away fat? It comes down to a science. Fat cells freeze at higher temperatures than surrounding tissues. the technology safely delivers precisely controlled cooling to gently and effectively target the fat cells underneath the skin. The treated fat cells are crystallized (frozen), and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. CoolSculpting is an alternative to Liposuction, also called lipoplasty, liposculpture suction, lipectomy, or lipo, which is a type of cosmetic surgery that breaks up and sucks fat from the body.

CoolSculpting® is non-invasive fat-reduction freeze fat away with this non-surgical Lipo alternative with no needles…no Surgery…no downtime!

Many patients ask us about Coolsculpting vs. Liposuction for the best results. The answer is patient and problem area dependent. To help you to decide between the two, I decided to write this blog post.

Downtime and Invasiveness

First off, Coolsculpting is non-invasive and requires no downtime. Liposuction is invasive and requires some time off work and exercising. You typically cannot work out for 6 weeks after liposuction and will need to wear a compression garment. After Coolsculpting, you may return to normal activity and should not miss any work. There is no need to wear a compressive garment as the subcutaneous layer has not been mechanically disrupted.

Fat Removal

Coolsculpting will not remove as much fat as a liposuction treatment and that can be good for some folks and bad for others. It is my bias that you achieve more natural-looking results with Coolsculpting. Having said that, I still refer approximately 5% of our Coolsculpting consultations out for a surgical consult. Liposuction does have that instant gratification piece that Coolsculpting lacks, however you will not wait long on Coolsculpting results. Within 6 weeks, subtle results are starting to be noticed by our clients. At 12 weeks, we see amazing results. It is often difficult to decide which treatment is right for you in the world of aesthetics. There are so many solutions to each problem and patients are often overwhelmed by the numerous options.

We pride ourselves in helping patients decide which is best even if we don’t offer the service. I typically do around 6 surgical referrals and 5 dermatology referrals per week. I only refer my clients to other physicians I trust and know their results. We can be an amazing resource for patients just getting into aesthetics and also for veterans that need a little guidance.

We are extremely passionate about our Coolsculpting results and only treat patients we know are going to have good results. My Coolsculpting specialist, Melissa Miller, has attended Coolsculpting University in California and truly has the eye of a sculptor. Stay tuned for more blogs on Aesthetic Medicine!!

CoolSculpting® is a non-invasive body contouring procedure that uses a controlled cooling device to freeze fat cells and eliminate unwanted fat. This non-surgical treatment is FDA-approved for use on the abdomen, thighs and flanks. The best candidates for Coolsculpting are those in good shape, but who have areas of stubborn fat that are resistant to diet and exercise.

How Does Coolsculpting Work?
The science behindCoolSculpting®, called cryolipolysis, works on the concept that fat cells are more vulnerable to freezing than surrounding tissue. These cooled fat cells go through cellular apoptosis or controlled cell death, which eliminates subcutaneous fat cells through cooling on the skin’s surface. The temperatures, below body temperature but above freezing, work on the adipose tissue, and the surrounding skin remains unaffected as the underlying fat tissues are frozen. The Coolsculpting device used by Dr. Jessica Wright works by suctioning up and holding the tissue to be treated. Since no anesthesia is necessary and it’s noninvasive, patients can resume regular activity the same day. While you may experience temporary redness or slight bruising, most patients experience little to no discomfort.*

In the days and weeks after the procedure, the fat cells that were frozen gradually die off and are removed from your body through the natural elimination process. In clinical studies, cryolipolysis was shown to reduce subcutaneous fat at the treatment site by up to 25% after only one treatment. While some individuals notice an immediate effect, optimal results are seen after a few months, and one to three treatments are recommended for most patients, depending on their goals.

Is it right for you?
Coolsculpting in Austin is a great alternative to the more invasive liposuction. While liposuction requires anesthesia, incisions which can leave scars, and involves considerable recovery time, Coolsculpting is an in-office procedure with no anesthesia, no cutting, and best of all, no recovery time. While Coolscupting is not for weight loss, it is an effective body contouring method with long lasting results. Once the fat cells are gone, they’re gone for good! It’s considered both safe and effective with high rates of patient satisfaction.*

*Results and patient experience may vary.

It’s important to consult with Dr. Jessica Wright at Rejuvenate Austin and make a plan that’s appropriate for your budget, time, and the results desired. Make an appointment today to see if Coolsculpting is right for you or visit our main CoolSculpting® Page for more info.
